About Kurukshetra University
Kurukshetra University (KUK) was established in 1956 by the State Legislature of Haryana and is located in Kurukshetra, Haryana. It began as a Sanskrit University and has developed into a multidisciplinary university offering programmes in science, engineering and technology, business studies, humanities, social sciences, performing arts, sports and other areas.
The University provides a wide range of UG, PG, professional, diploma, certificate and research programmes. Its academic offerings include programmes such as B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., B.Tech., BBA, B.A. LL.B., LL.B., MBA, M.A., M.Com., M.Sc., M.Tech. and Ph.D., among others.
Kurukshetra University is NAAC A++ accredited and has Category-I University status. The University has also implemented the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 across its academic programmes.
Its campus is situated near the historic Brahm Sarovar in Kurukshetra and extends over approximately 473 acres, providing academic, research, library, hostel, sports and other student facilities.
